Goodbye.
This is going to be my last entry on tumblr. I decided it’s time to start my mission journal. Thank you for everybody that reads this. I’ve done a lot of growing and I can only hope that something that you are reading here as changed you in some way for the better.
Yesterday Dad and I were supposed to go as stormtroopers in the parade, but they cancelled it on us. Today I fasted and went to church. I’m really glad I did and that’s partly because I almost overslept and missed church. I fasted for a lot of things but among them was that I would be able to understand the temple and be worthy to have these ordinances done, for Kori to be prepared to go to the temple, that she might wait for me, that I will be an effective missionary, that my inactive or non-member family members might soften their hearts to the gospel.
It’s been quite a trip since I started doing this. It has been an eye opener about who I am, who I want to be, and how far I’ve come. I’m still battling temptation on a daily basis, like any other human being but I feel like I’ve overcome a lot. Today in church we talked about opposition and eternal progression. I’m glad to know of these principles and doctrine. I hope and aspire that I may endure all things.
Remember that to be spiritually minded is life eternal, so SMILE :)
